Why can't my portable DVD player play DVD videos in Windows 8 or later?

Category : Setup / Operation

Windows Media Player in Windows 8 or later does not support DVD video discs. You need to pay to upgrade Windows Media Center.
If you need to play DVD on Windows 8 or later, we suggest installing a free Third-Party DVD Player, such as K-Lite, KMplayer and VLC media play, to support DVD video discs.
