Transcend Information Inc. (Transcend®), a leading manufacturer of memory products, today announced it will be participating for the 10th consecutive year at Embedded World, the internationally distinguished fair for embedded systems, this year taking place from February 25 to February 27, 2020, at the Nuremberg Exhibition Center. In Hall 1, Stand 1-370, visitors will find both proven storage solutions as well as the company’s freshest innovations. This year’s highlights include Transcend's flash products that tap into the latest 3D NAND technology for a novel cell architecture of 96 layers, DDR4 SO-DIMMs, PCIe NVMe M.2 SSDs, high-endurance USB flash drives, among others.
Adaptable Solutions for a Complete Integration
Transcend’s comprehensive embedded portfolio ranges from flash solutions to memory modules, covering different form factors and DIMM types. Solutions are characterized by their versatility and flexible capability to incorporate advanced firmware configurations, embedded technologies, and value-added services.
With reliability a prerequisite for memory products operating within networked applications, Transcend is bringing out products featuring impressive longevity, compatibility, and ruggedness that will bring value to embedded sectors such as IoV (Internet of Vehicles), IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things), digital entertainment, cloud computing, and healthcare.
Static Demo: Reliable microSD Card and Value-Added Technologies for Durability
Transcend will be demonstrating its embedded solutions in use with a video surveillance system and embedded baseboard. Products presented at the booth include the USD230I microSD card, which utilizes 3D NAND flash and is optimized with Transcend's exclusive SLC-mode technology to achieve an endurance rating higher than that of the legacy SLC NAND flash. Having the memory product operate in SLC-mode adds great value as well as durability to the solution.
Other technology services include conformal coating, which protects industrial flash and DRAM modules from harsh environmental conditions, such as humidity, dust, corrosion and chemical intrusion, and corner bond and underfill, which improve the reliability for selected products under high mechanical stress.
About Embedded World
The Embedded World Exhibition and Conference is the world's largest meeting place of the international embedded community. Every year, the event attracts more than 1,000 exhibitors from Germany and abroad to Nuremberg, where participants are offered a glimpse into the latest products and innovations. Many of the industry leaders are expected to join the event again in 2020 to showcase all facets of the embedded technology services and tools, including hardware, software, operating systems, and more.
